Basic Schooling The Basic Schooling system has emerged as viable system for providing education to in out of school groups for achieving Education for All (EFA) groups. The successes of the National Literacy Mission's programmes have opened educational opportunities for neo-literates especially women. In order to provide a learning continuum from literacy to secondary education through Private schooling, NCHSE has initiated the Basic Schooling Programme. Secondary Course This Course is equivalent to the Xth standard. You can choose subjects from the Scheme of Studies available. However, you will be required to successfully complete a minimum of six subjects with atleast one language. Subjects:- English; Hindi; Environmental Education; Science;Social Studies Geography; Mathematics; Home Science; Word Processing; Computer Science; PaintingDrawing; state wise 1st.or 2nd Language Senior Secondary Course This Course is designed for those who have passed the Xth standard or equivalent examination from a recognised Board and would like to continue their education towards a Senior Secondary Certification, equivalent to XII standard. Your can choose subjects from the Scheme of Studies given. However, you will be required to successfully complete a minimum of Six subjects. Subjects: English; Hindi; Environmental Education; Mathematics; Home Science; History; Geography; Political Science; Sociology; Psychology; Commerce; Accountancy; Mass Communication.Word Processing; Computer Science; Physics; Chemistry; Biology; Painting; Economics.State wise 1st. Language Professional, Certificate and Diploma Course These courses will be conducted by NCHSE through its Coordinators and Centres under Partnership Scheme. The Professional Courses are intended for the Students who have passed Class VIII and looking for some learning as well as carieer opportunities. The Diploma Courses and the Certificate Courses are designed to fill the gap of middle level managers. The minimum qualification will be Class XII or equivalent. The subject list are available with the Centres and Coordinators.
